CMT Project Manager

The Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager oversees highway construction materials testing projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, QA/QC standards, and material testing procedures while managing project execution, client coordination, and field and laboratory testing activities. Responsibilities Oversee QA/QC activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and material testing procedures. Review construction plans, specifications, and interpret material test results. Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve construction and testing issues. Supervise laboratory and field-testing activities for soil, concrete, and asphalt. Attend pre-construction meetings, inspect ongoing construction work, and monitor project progress. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Hands-on experience of construction project management. Hands-on experience of laboratory testing, construction materials testing, material inspection, or related engineering. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience managing highway, bridge, or transportation construction projects.
