Travel RN – PCU / Progressive Care Unit (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: August 24, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit serving a mixed medical patient population
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 in alignment with unit staffing standards
• Collaborate with a night shift team that typically includes a charge nurse coordinator, RNs, and patient care technicians
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in unit float rotation as needed
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment with a positive, professional attitude

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
• Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step-Down environment
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records
• Strong teamwork skills and a consistently positive, adaptable attitude
