BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN (WIC)

LOCATION
Dallas, TX 75240 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• Pay: $17.82/hour
• Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
• One Saturday per month (after cross-training): 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Employment Type: Temporary (W2)

ROLE IMPACT

Support the delivery of essential WIC services by helping women, infants, and children access nutrition and health benefits through accurate eligibility determination, quality customer service, and compliant program administration. Success in this role is measured by timely processing, accurate documentation, and positive participant experiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Interview WIC applicants to determine income and residency eligibility, verify identification and immunization records, and maintain accurate participant documentation.
• Issue WIC benefits through EBT, enter and maintain data in Texas WIN and XP systems, monitor inventory, and prepare required reports.
• Collect medical history information, obtain height and weight measurements, perform finger-stick blood sample collection, and manage recalled or medically required formula items.
• Welcome and assist participants, answer questions, schedule appointments, and provide referrals to appropriate health and community resources.
• Perform administrative duties including answering phones, maintaining participant records, filing, and document retention activities.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Two years of experience in healthcare, education, community services, or social services.

• EBT systems
• Microsoft Office or comparable office productivity software

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience supporting Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to provide professional customer service while maintaining accurate data entry.
