Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic testing, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions autonomously or collaboratively with physicians
• Guiding patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice

Education Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or permitted to obtain within 90 days)
