Senior Pricing Analyst (Contract)

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Schedule: Full-Time
Duration: 6-Month Contract

About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst for a leading legal/professional services organization in Philadelphia, PA.

This role works closely with business leaders and operational stakeholders to support strategic pricing, profitability analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience supporting pricing and financial decision-making within a law firm or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop profitability models, pricing tools, and financial templates to support business decisions and client proposals.
• Analyze financial performance data and provide recommendations regarding pricing strategies and profitability.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Provide historical and trend-based reporting to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Assist with pricing analyses related to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and client engagements.
• Partner with leadership and operational teams to evaluate pricing opportunities and risks.
• Respond to ad hoc analytical requests and prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
• Support client pricing negotiations through financial modeling and data analysis.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, FP&A, revenue management, or related financial functions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a law firm, legal services organization, or other professional services environment.
• Familiarity with matter budgeting, profitability analysis, pricing strategy, and alternative fee arrangements.
• Experience supporting business development initiatives and client pricing proposals.
