Job Duties

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and develop personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their specific functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and integrative care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy practices to promote continuous improvement at home
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Evaluate clinical responses and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure steady progress for all patients

Education Required

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Commitment to ongoing professional education or additional certifications is encouraged

Licenses/Certifications

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
