Registered Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift – Direct Hire)

Job Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care across all patient populations. Responsibilities include:

• Performing therapeutic treatments and delivering bedside respiratory care in accordance with physician orders.
• Conducting bedside diagnostic procedures and documenting findings accurately.
• Reviewing, implementing, and maintaining individualized respiratory care plans.
• Evaluating patient conditions and adjusting therapies as clinically appropriate.
• Acting as a preceptor for respiratory therapy students and newly hired team members.
• Participating in on-call rotations and responding to emergent respiratory care needs.
• Ensuring safe practices, infection control compliance, and professional standards of care.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education & Credentials

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or CRT credential from the NBRC.
• Current Ohio State License for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and NRP required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PALS and STABLE preferred (not required).

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be available for on-call responsibilities.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical setting.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly ranges:
• Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner: $23–$35/hour
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner: $24–$37/hour
• $15,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
• Up to $5,000 relocation assistance
