Registered Nurse (Pediatrics) Position Overview Location: Point Pleasant, PA (Bucks County) Salary: Starting at $38.00 / hr Overview Make a meaningful impact as a Registered Nurse at Pediatric Specialty Care. Provide direct nursing care to technology‑dependent and medically fragile infants, children, and young adults aged birth to 21 years, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Shift Options (12‑hour shifts) Nights: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (every other weekend) Days: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM Responsibilities Actively participate in the planning and delivery of care for all assigned individuals. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, ensuring the 5 rights of medication administration. Perform timely and accurate documentation in care plans, nursing notes, medical administration records, and treatment records. Complete nursing admission evaluations and re‑evaluations in accordance with nursing department standards of practice. Provide care‑planning information and educational support as requested by supervision and other health‑care disciplines. Adhere to safety rules and standards of practice to ensure the general safety of staff, individuals, and visitors. Report unusual symptoms, changes in condition, and daily needs to the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, RN Supervisor, or other licensed professional. Contact MD/NP/PA for orders or updates and keep family members informed as needed. Participate in Change‑of‑Shift Report and update nursing personnel of the next shift on current care needs. Attend orientation and in‑service training before performing new tasks and continue with ongoing education programs and mandatory annual training. Serve as a role model, representing the organization with professionalism, integrity, and respect for dignity and privacy. Participate in quality improvement, clinical, and safety programs upon request. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse license in good standing in the state of employment. Current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification. Minimum age 21 years. Preferred training and experience in a pediatric setting. Meets qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor per 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800. Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English at an intermediate or higher level. Benefits Optimal nurse‑to‑patient ratios.
