Home Care Aide (Non-Medical Caregiver)
Southview Home Care Services
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Southview Home Care Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living. Whether you are an experienced caregiver or looking to begin a rewarding career in healthcare, we would love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As a Home Care Aide, you will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes by providing:
- Assistance with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Light meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and household organization
- Companionship and emotional support
- Escorting clients to appointments and errands when needed
Who You'll Care For
Our caregivers provide support for:
- Older adults
- Individuals living with dementia
- Post-surgical patients
- Hospice clients
- Individuals with disabilities
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Ideal for:
- Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)
- Companion Caregivers
- IHSS Providers
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Individuals interested in starting a career in home care
California Home Care Aide Requirements
To work as a Home Care Aide in California, applicants must complete the following :
- Live Scan fingerprint background check
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration
- Current TB test
- Completion of the required 5-hour Home Care Aide Orientation Training
Southview Home Care Services will assist qualified applicants through the Home Care Aide registration process and provide guidance on completing all California state requirements.
Additional Information
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Flexible scheduling based on your availability
- Multiple client assignments may be available depending on experience and availability
- Reliable transportation is helpful but not required for every assignment
