Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Cobb County Area!
Are you a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in the healthcare industry? Look no further! Medside Healthcare/Linkjobs Online is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the Atlanta Area. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will have the chance to make a difference in the lives of patients by providing skilled rehabilitation services in their place of residence.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive physical therapy modalities to clients
- Develop and restore function through rehabilitative physical therapy
- Work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Follow the Plan of Treatment prescribed by a physician
- Provide services in a home health setting
Required Skills:
- Current Georgia PTA licensure with no sanctions
- One year of previous PTA experience in a home health setting (Preferred)
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation and occupational therapy
- Knowledge of treatment planning and manual therapy techniques
- Ability to develop care plans and provide interventions
Technical Skills:
- Skilled in activities of daily living and discharge planning
- Experience in outpatient and long-term care settings
- Knowledge of orthopedic, acute care, geriatrics, and pain management
