Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Odessa, DE

Job Description

Step into an exciting, full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Odessa, DE for the 2026/27 academic year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple age groups, balancing a caseload that includes one high school group and two preschool groups. Your expertise will help drive student communication success, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility
Experience in school-based settings, including both high school and preschool populations
Familiarity with teletherapy and healthcare documentation best practices
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Dedicated to facilitating student growth in a diverse educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services, both in-person and virtually as needed
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor student progress
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment outcomes, and compliance with school guidelines
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
