In this role, you’ll conduct hands-on analysis within our laboratories, helping ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.**What You’ll Do*** Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established EPA methodologies for dioxin and PCB analyses.* Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation to support high-quality analytical testing.* Review, interpret, and reduce complex analytical data, ensuring compliance with method requirements, quality control criteria, and laboratory standards.* Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain organized and defensible laboratory records.* Investigate analytical issues, evaluate instrument performance, and assist with corrective actions to ensure data quality and laboratory efficiency.* Collaborate with laboratory staff to maintain compliance with regulatory, quality assurance, and safety requirements.**What You’ll Bring*** Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.* 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining mass spectrometry-based analytical instrumentation in a production, environmental, industrial, academic, or research laboratory setting.* Experience reviewing, interpreting, and reducing analytical data generated from mass spectrometry systems.* Working knowledge of laboratory quality systems, analytical methodologies, and data integrity requirements.* Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills with a focus on producing accurate, defensible results.* Experience with High Resolution GC/High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRGC/HRMS) is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates with relevant mass spectrometry experience.**What We Promise*** We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement.
