Construction Manager

Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager for a full‑time, on‑site role based in San Diego, CA. The Construction Manager will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, managing schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective project execution. Responsibilities include supervising on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, implementing project control processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with school district goals. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications Supervisory skills, including team coordination and leadership Proven ability in budgeting and financial oversight for construction projects Knowledge of construction safety protocols to ensure compliance and prevent accidents Expertise in construction methodologies and best practices Experience with project control processes, including scheduling and progress tracking Proficiency with construction management software and relevant technology Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with various stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or related roles Experience in educational facilities or public sector construction projects is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr School Leaders
