About the Role:
Join Shea Construction as a Site Superintendent for our Commercial TI projects in sunny San Diego, CA! This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic teams and ensure the successful execution of high-profile renovations and tenant improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations and manage construction schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project quality and efficiency.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues promptly.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure financial accountability.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Lead team meetings and foster a positive work environment focused on collaboration and productivity.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on project status and site activities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, specifically in tenant improvements.
- Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to manage teams and subcontractors.
- Valid OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations in construction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Proficient in construction management software (Procore- preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
