Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (4x12 accepted) | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Holidays required as scheduled | 8-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during day shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float within the specialty, to sister units, and to lower acuity areas as needed
• Adhere to all facility policies, compliance requirements, and scheduling expectations including holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association only
• CPI certification – Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
• Comfort with floating within scope and across units with no restrictions
• Flexibility with scheduling, including holiday and weekend availability
