Machine Maintenance

Job Purpose:
- The Machine Maintenance position at MOMENTUM USA INC is designed to ensure the optimal functioning and longevity of machinery and equipment. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, enhancing productivity, and maintaining safety standards by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide technical support and training to machine operators to enhance their understanding of equipment functionality.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and practices.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize production downtime.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and practices.
- Familiarity with using diagnostic tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
