Staff Accountant

Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Salary 65-75k – DOE. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and perform account reconciliations Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Analyze financial data and prepare reports for internal stakeholders Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) Support audit processes and provide required documentation Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3+ years of accounting experience (public or industry) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
