Staff Accountant
Sacramento, CA (onsite) 35-40/hr

We are looking for a staff accountant for a wonderful new temp-to-hire job opportunity based out of Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, good GL accounting experience, and a strong attention to detail. If you are looking for more information please apply now!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on GL and journal entries.
- Non-Profit industry experience
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
