Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit with 17 beds, managing a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
• Perform and assist with labor management, C-sections, Pitocin administration, Magnesium drip management, and intraamniotic procedures
• Operate and interpret Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) equipment including TOCO, ultrasound, Doppler, and Novii
• Assist with procedures including ECV and cerclage placement
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, fellow RNs, and OB scrub technicians across night shift
• Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech / CPN)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN or NCC-EFM certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Willingness to precept other staff
• CEFM or RNC-OB certification
