Senior International Accountant (Remote)VARITE is looking for qualified Senior International Accountant (Remote). This position is located in North Carolina and is a 6-month contract with possible extension. The pay rate range is $40.00/hr. to $50.00/hr. on W2. Work authorization is US Citizen or Green Card only.Position SummarySeeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA International Accountant to support SAP S/4HANA Cloud releases (App version), testing, reporting, and finance process improvements. This role is primarily system-focused and requires a strong understanding of SAP finance processes, end-to-end testing, reporting layouts, and workflow optimization. Accounting experience is beneficial but secondary to SAP expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end testing for SAP S/4HANA Cloud releases, upgrades, and enhancements.Create test scripts, execute testing, document results, and coordinate issue resolution.Develop and maintain SAP report layouts, variants, and output formats to support business reporting requirements.Analyze existing finance processes and recommend workflow improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization.Support finance users by troubleshooting SAP-related issues and identifying practical solutions.Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external implementation partners on system enhancements and projects.Assist with billing, intercompany settlements, cash transfers, and related finance activities.Support month-end processes, account reconciliations, and accounting entries as needed.Document business requirements, process flows, testing results, and user procedures.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.5+ years of SAP Finance experience.Required: Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud experience (App version).Experience supporting SAP releases, upgrades, testing cycles, and process improvement initiatives.Experience with SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, Fixed Assets, and Reporting.Accounting and international business experience preferred.Skills and AttributesStrong SAP S/4HANA Cloud Finance knowledge (App version).Experience with end-to-end testing, UAT, and defect management.Ability to improve processes, streamline workflows, and drive automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Independent worker requiring minimal supervision.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Experience working with finance teams, IT teams, consultants, and vendors.Advanced Excel and reporting skills.Ideal CandidateA hands-on SAP S/4HANA professional who understands finance processes, can independently lead testing efforts, develop reporting solutions, optimize workflows, and help drive successful SAP S/4HANA Cloud releases (App version).The ideal candidate brings strong SAP expertise, a process improvement mindset, and sufficient accounting knowledge to support day-to-day finance operations when needed.BenefitsHealth Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement Plans: Participation in a company-sponsored retirement savings plan.Legal Service Plans: Offering access to attorneys for legal advice and representation.VARITE is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
