Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential occupational therapy services for the upcoming school year. Two full-time contract Occupational Therapist positions are available, both offering the chance to work within supportive school environments in the greater Elgin, IL area.

First Opportunity:

• Full-time coverage across two elementary schools for the entire school year
• Manage two non-concurrent leaves, ensuring continuity and high-quality service for students
• 35+ hours per week

Second Opportunity:

• Full-time maternity leave coverage in an elementary school
• October through April assignment
• 35+ hours per week

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current IL OT licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Prior experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and collaborate on IEP development
• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports
• Consult with teachers and families regarding interventions and accommodations
• Promote students’ engagement and participation in classroom routines and activities
