What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate merchant applications to identify credit, fraud, compliance, and reputational risk.
• Make informed underwriting decisions in accordance with banking, card network, and internal risk policies.
• Analyze financial and business documentation, including KYC and KYB requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Risk, and Operations teams to resolve underwriting issues and support new business opportunities.
• Document underwriting decisions clearly and maintain accurate records.
• Identify emerging risk trends and recommend practical solutions that support responsible portfolio growth.
• Prioritize multiple applications while maintaining exceptional accuracy and turnaround times.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of underwriting, risk management, or payments industry experience.
• Experience evaluating merchant applications and business documentation.
• Strong understanding of KYC/KYB requirements and risk-based decision making.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in merchant acquiring, payment processing, or financial services.
• Familiarity with underwriting, fraud prevention, CRM, or risk management platforms.
• Knowledge of card payment ecosystems and merchant onboarding processes.
