Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures to support diagnostic interpretation, with emphasis on CT imaging; ensure image quality and adherence to department protocols.
- Practice radiation safety per ALARA standards; verify pregnancy status for female patients and apply shielding as required.
- Operate imaging equipment per manufacturer recommendations; conduct quality control checks and document results.
- Verify exam orders, confirm patient identity using two identifiers, provide patient education, and document relevant medical history related to the procedure.
- Communicate with radiologists on imaging findings; notify of STAT or emergent cases and provide radiologist contact information as needed.
- Assist with clerical duties, patient transportation when required, inventory maintenance, and cross-train to additional imaging modalities; troubleshoot equipment and escalate downtime issues.

Requirements
- Licensure/Certification: ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and CT (or eligible for two registries listed, with attainment within 1 year of hire) to be registered in at least two modalities.
- Certification: Current BLS certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Experience: Prior practice as a technologist in radiology or CT preferred; cross-training to other modalities encouraged.
- Education: Relevant radiologic technology education required; ability to operate within a fast-paced imaging department.
- Additional: Ability to work in a travel assignment, with the listed shift and guaranteed hours; good communication skills and proficiency with PACS/RIS/HIS.
