Sr. Quality Technician - $28-$30/hr DOE!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Sr. Quality Technician for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $28-$30/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The Senior Quality Technician plays a key role in supporting the O-Rings business by overseeing customer and supplier quality processes and ensuring adherence to established quality standards and work instructions. This position is responsible for supporting PPAP activities, maintaining inspection equipment, and leading investigations and corrective action efforts in collaboration with suppliers.

• Evaluate customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements to ensure compliance.
• Develop and submit customer PPAP documentation while coordinating supplier PPAP submissions.
• Review supplier IMDS entries and compile customer IMDS documentation packages.
• Arrange external testing and sorting activities as needed.
• Conduct dimensional inspections and establish inspection methods using appropriate quality measurement tools.
• Investigate customer complaints, drive supplier corrective actions, and provide 8D reports to customers.
• Support the disposition process for nonconforming materials.
• Assist with revalidation activities and inspections alongside the Quality Technician.
• Partner with the Production Supervisor to train employees on quality standards and inspection equipment usage.
• Communicate project updates and quality concerns with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Perform additional quality-related tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule/Shift Details: First Shift

• Overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, with a working knowledge of GD&T and AIAG PPAP requirements.
• Experience with rubber or polymer materials is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Prior experience with automotive PPAP processes is preferred.
