Security Officer (Per Diem, Evening shift)

What You'll Be Doing Ensures the protection of persons and property from harm as a result of acts of violations of laws, policy, procedures or regulatory requirements. Provides safety and security 24 hours a day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended offices Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes Performs unit/building clock tours daily Conducts security rounds for safety violations Reports all hazardous conditions to the proper departments Monitors cameras / alarms at command posts Investigates all (police type) incident reports What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent required. SORA license preferred. Valid NJ driver’s license required. Relevant work experience as Security required. Hospital setting experience preferred.
