Warehouse Associate

Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Associate, under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records. This is a direct hire, not a temporary position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Fulfilling product order invoices Unloading material from incoming trucks Loading product onto delivery trucks for shipping Assist with maintaining equipment, which includes cleaning out production equipment and lines Maintain a clean and safe work area Performs other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: At least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong organizational and time management skills Basic math skills Excellent communication skills Familiarity with computers and inventory software preferred Must be able to work independently and in a team environment PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION TALKING: Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly . AVERAGE HEARING : Ability to hear average conversations. , REPETITIVE MOTION: The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time. FINGER DEXTERITY: The employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle equipment and tools. AVERAGE VISION: Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. PHYSICAL STRENGTH: The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS Manufacturing environment - exposure to heat and cold, along with humid conditions and dust. MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION REASONING ABILITY: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization. MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions. LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to communicate clearly.
