Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, managing patients with respiratory, renal, and cardiac conditions, as well as alcohol/drug withdrawal and infections
• Monitor and assess patient status, implementing appropriate nursing interventions in a step-down/intermediate care environment
• Adhere to department guidelines regarding weekend, holiday, and float rotation requirements
• Complete all required learning modules prior to and during the assignment
• Maintain active ACLS and BLS certifications from an AHA, ARC, or ASHI approved vendor throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
