Role Summary To keep pace with rapid growth we’re adding a dedicated Case Manager focused on civil litigation, including contested car‑accident suits and discovery‑heavy matters. You’ll be the linchpin who ensures pleadings go out spotless, discovery comes in complete, and clients never feel lost in the process. What you’ll do Draft & File Pleadings: Complaints, answers, motions, and proposed orders. Master Discovery: Prepare interrogatories, requests for admission/production, and track responses. Legal Research: Pin down statutes, case law, and procedural rules. Client Interface: Field routine questions, gather documents, and schedule attorney calls. Case‑Load Management: Shepherd up to 300 active files through deadlines, hearings, and settlement checkpoints. Attorney Collaboration: Deliver concise case updates and flag issues before they become courtroom embarrassments. Record Organization: Maintain impeccable digital and physical files, even during temporary remote stints. What we’re looking for Experience: 1+ year in probate, estate planning, or comparable legal setting preferred. Exceptional newcomers with rock‑solid writing chops will be considered. Bi‑lingual: Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Discovery Ninja: Fluent in Texas rules and federal FRCP discovery demands. Research & Writing: Can brief thorny issues in plain English and proof work without assistance. Tech Savvy: Comfortable in case‑management platforms, MS Office, and e‑filing portals. Soft Skills: Positive, coachable, stress‑resilient, and curious about the law. On‑Site Commitment: Full‑time at our El Paso office once renovations finish; brief remote training period possible.
