Summary: Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout a hospital or healthcare facility by performing routine cleaning, floor care, waste removal, and facility support services.

Essential Functions:

• Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
• Cleans walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
• Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenishes restroom supplies as needed.
• Collects and removes debris from buildings and surrounding areas.
• Operates high- and low-speed floor stripping and buffing machines.
• Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.
• Identifies and reports building maintenance needs within assigned buildings and facilities.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials: Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently but also be a team player. Good communication and comprehension skills.

Additional Job Details (if applicable): 8 hours Saturday, 8 hours Sunday and is from 12:30pm to 9pm
