Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms. Collaborate closely with clients to design tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals and preferences. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques, focusing especially on divorce and relationship dynamics. Educate clients and families on mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and essential self-care practices to promote recovery and resilience. Monitor client progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes and feedback. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by working with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care delivery. Stay informed about advancements in mental health research and treatment strategies to enhance the effectiveness of therapy. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to diminish stigma and promote understanding within the community. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on individuals and families navigating complex emotional situations, including relationship challenges, divorce, and other family-related issues. This role is particularly essential for clients seeking guidance in resolving conflicts and achieving greater emotional stability. Qualifications Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. Demonstrated ability to establish secure and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibit empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and challenges. Exhibit solid organizational and time-management skills for effective workload management and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices, particularly in marriage, family, and child therapy contexts. Prior experience working in a community health setting or a remote position is favorable. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and experience with virtual therapy sessions is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
