An opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to contribute expertise in a specialty compounding pharmacy environment. This contract role, based in Detroit, MI, offers a chance to apply your knowledge in preparing and verifying sterile injectables and compounded medications while managing a high-volume workload.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Duration: 4 to 8 weeks with potential for extension
• Setting: Specialty Compounding Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify compounded prescriptions and sterile injectable medications to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards
• Prepare IV admixtures adhering to strict aseptic techniques
• Manage a high volume of pharmaceutical preparations efficiently while maintaining quality control
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support daily operations and maintain workflow

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven pharmacist experience in compounding and sterile injectable preparation
• Valid Michigan Pharmacy License is required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, specialty pharmacy environment
