This role reports to the Sr Manager, Risk and Corporate Insurance.This role will help oversee insurance program management including administrative tasks associated with surety bonds, insurance applications and other needs related to the company’s various policies.Given the growth of the company over the last 10 years, this individual should be able to identify areas to simplify, automate and advance all aspects of the insurance department; establishing best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the Corporate Insurance function.This position coordinates with the Claims/Legal Department on large losses to ensure timely notification to insurance carriers and the proper communication of case reserves to the TPA, Actuary and Accounting. Coordinates the insurance programs with the business units. Essential Functions: Evaluate and analyze insurance proposals to ensure alignment with organizational risk appetite and business objectivesAdministrative support for insurance policies including applications and surety bonds Monitor and analyze reporting frameworks to evaluate insurance program effectiveness Create executive-level presentations on insurance program performance and recommendationsCollaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to identify emerging risks and appropriate mitigation strategiesMaintain knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in corporate insuranceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s Degree in risk management or financePractical knowledge of risk management and insurance process, claims management, basicaccounting practices, finance and insurance industry and policy forms.
