Senior Network Engineer

Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr 4 DAY A WEEK ON-SITE Our client, a Fintech located on Long Island is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join the team. This is a Senior level role requiring strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco networks. Your experience will help build, manage and maintain their strong network. Key Responsibilities Provides network operations supporting a 24/7 operating environment Work as part of a global network team monitoring and troubleshooting low latency network environments Maintain network service by establishing and enforcing managed hosting standards/ metrics/ best practices Plan, design, and work with 3rd party to build, install and configure new capabilities to meet the needs of the business The ability to plan complex changes within the network infrastructure Patching & upgrade management of networking devices Participates and provides input into all changes to the network ensuring minimal disruption Identify potential issues and provide proactive options to avoid problems Handles scheduled maintenance and/or outage issues escalated Job requirements 5+ years of experience with Cisco switches, routers and firewalls 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience 5+ years of network troubleshooting and incident handling experience 5+ years of experience in network design and implementation 2+ years of experience in a Fintech Advanced networking knowledge of protocol routing and L2 switching Detailed understanding of network security, including Firewalls and VPNs Experience with automation tools such as Ansible would be a plus High level certifications (CNP, CCIE, RHCE, etc.) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Phaxis by 2x Get notified about new Senior Network Engineer jobs in Manhasset, NY . #J-18808-Ljbffr
