As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Unit in Redondo Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, helping to monitor and patrol assigned areas while supporting security-related operations. In this visible role, you will conduct routine patrols, assist with incident awareness, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support access control, alarm response, and/or after-hours coverage while maintaining professionalism and attention to detailed post instructions in a location with variable working conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
