Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $23.66 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense industry location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify access credentials in accordance with site protocols, and report access issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations. Support site operations by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of post instructions, and following Allied Universal standards for assigned duties. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
