We are a leading manufacturer of products and services for the transit, railroad, mining, general industry, and oil/gas industries in the US and globally.Position OverviewWe are searching for a Quality Manager with a strong quality management background with ISO and/or AAR experience. This position will lead and manage all quality activities for both our Blairsville, PA and Johnstown, PA locations.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities also include:ISO 9001:2015 and AAR auditsLead process controls, quality policies and systems, and continuous improvementManage day-to-day operations of the QMSsKPIs, CARs, OFIs, and reportingQualificationsQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in related field and 5-8 years related quality and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.In-depth knowledge of process based QMS and the "System View" of organizations, monitoring and validating processes and manufacturing methods.Must be proficient with the Microsoft Suite of software, SPC software, and Minitab (or equivalent). Knowledge in ERP (integrated company wide information systems) supply systems, especially Epicor, would be desirable.In depth hands-on knowledge of quality systems, policies, and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge to the interpretation of customer requirements.Understanding of manufacturing environments and processes.Must be able to read blueprints.Mechanical knowledge of gears, bearings, gearboxes.Experience in negotiating and strong internal/external communication skills.Ability to analyze and implement solutions and apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Understanding complex reading material, ability to compose correspondence including technical reports, and advanced communication skills to effectively communicate matters of detail with top management, make formal presentations, etc.Must be willing to travel as required (40%) maintaining a valid passport and ability to secure required Visa's for travel to legally accepted locations globally.Must have a valid driver's license.Competitive Wage and BenefitsCompetitive wage and benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurances effective 1st day of employment.
