Field Service Technician I

Responsibilities Represent the NCR Atleos brand by being the first line of response on‑site at our customers’ locations. Problem‑solve at a basic module level (FRU), organize and plan time effectively, and know when and to whom to elevate issues. Apply the knowledge acquired during on‑the‑job training to resolve task‑related problems in straightforward situations, emphasizing manual skills. Follow Safety and Security Procedures when working on ATMs. This training begins on Day 1. Complete NCR Atleos‑specific trainings and certifications on the company training website. Diagnose problems based on ATM error logs and information provided via the service app using a company‑provided cell phone. Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors. Accurately and promptly report updates, details of work performed at the ATM, and call‑closure information. Maintain parts inventory and related records. Accurately report hours worked and miles driven daily. Requirements Must reside in the specified geographic area. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements. Access to reliable transportation for work. Familiarity with and ability to use an Android cell phone (company‑provided). Ability to perform essential functions of the job which include: Prolonged travel during several hours of the workday, including inclement weather. Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size. This role requires proof of the following minimum insurance coverage: Bodily Injury Liability: Minimum $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident. Property Damage Liability: Minimum $100,000 per accident. Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in diagnosing and resolving ATM‑related issues while adhering to safety and security procedures.
