Residential Construction Manager

Most construction managers spend their week putting out fires. This one spends it building something they're proud to drive by five years later. I'm running a retained search for a Construction Manager on behalf of a well-established custom residential remodeling firm in the Greater Boston area - think $2.5M-$20M homes, an in-house mill workshop, and exacting standards set by owners who were builders themselves before they ran the company. This is a team that's been recognized as a top place to work multiple years running, with several Best of Boston honors to back up the craftsmanship. They don't burn people out - they build something they're proud of, together. You'll own the day-to-day on active remodel projects: partnering with the Director of Production, Project Manager, and Lead Carpenter to plan and schedule the work, supervising crews and subs, running weekly production meetings, managing materials and deliveries, and keeping the client in the loop from first walk-through to final punch list. You're the person on-site making the calls that keep the job on budget, on time, and up to standard.
