HD Pharmacist – OptumRx
Location: Sunrise, FL 33326 – On-Site
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week | Rotating shifts, weekends & some holidays
Type: Healthcare/Pharmacy | Contract
Dress Code: Scrubs
Interview: In-person
About the Role:
Join a small, detail-focused team of pharmacy professionals supporting efficient and compliant pharmacy operations. The pharmacist will help ensure accurate medication dispensing, quality control, and compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial review of incoming medication orders
Complete final verification of products prepared by pharmacy technicians
Contact facilities to clarify orders when needed
Direct pharmacy workflow to meet turnaround-time goals
Complete required pharmacy and workflow documentation
Help maintain appropriate staffing and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
Active Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacist license
At least 1 year of licensed pharmacist experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus
FRAMEWORKS operating system experience is a BIG plus
Schedule Details:
Pharmacy closes at 9 PM Monday–Friday and 6 PM on weekends . No overnight shifts.
