About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Minnesota state Licensure Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Dementia training required prior to start Description: Unit has 20 beds in total. Certifications required include CNA, LPN, or RN. Nurse-to-patient ratios are maintained for quality care. Days shift typically includes one RN on each unit. Nights will have one RN serving both units. CNA staffing includes up to 3 on days and 1-2 on nights. Charting system utilized is MEDITECH. Weekend work is typically every other weekend and may increase. Holiday work is also expected. All scrub colors are permitted. Physicians round daily, with 4-5 private practice physicians on site. Flexibility is essential, as assignments may change during shifts. A culture of teamwork is being developed, and contributions are valued. First-time travelers are welcome. Mandation may occur as needed.
