About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Abilene, Texas, 79601!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Prior travel experience required. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 5 - Charting system experience preferred Description: Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred. The unit provides care for adults and geriatric patients with a daily census of 17. There are 20 rooms and 20 beds available. The unit accepts all medical and surgical diagnoses. Special procedures include not accepting certain acute conditions and cardiac drips. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Clinicians must complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a plan for completion. Previous permanent staff must be gone for one year before returning as a traveler. Travel experience is preferred. The facility conducts its own drug screening, including marijuana, and a positive result will lead to automatic cancellation.
