Phlebotomy TechnicianPay Range: $22.90hr - $28.30hrRequirement/Must Have:Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.High school diploma or equivalent.Phlebotomy certification required in California.Keyboard and data entry experience.Responsibilities:Represent the face of the organization to patients while creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices.Maintain required records and documentation.Promote a positive image to patients, employees, and the public.Nice to Have:Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Skills:Phlebotomy.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Clinical Collections.Forensic Collections.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Phlebotomy certification.
