Overview:

Serve as a key face-to-face contact and liaison for customers. Generate sales while providing quick, accurate, courteous service to customers.

Work Shift and Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Typical Functions:

Sell merchandise to customers utilizing product and applications knowledge to select lighting, furniture and accessories that best meets customer needs. When applicable, or as assigned, service orders that have been called in for customer pickup.

Answer incoming phone calls and answer questions, or direct calls to the appropriate person.

On occasion, assist in placing and arranging merchandise displays.

Perform all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.

Proficient computer skills; experience in Eclipse or ERP system is a plus.

Keep the showroom clean and tidy to keep customer experience at its best.

Keep up with sales, setting up deliveries, and follow up.

Update knowledge of products through self-study and attending product training classes.

Work as a team to ensure large projects are executed properly and in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
