Overview The starting pay range for this position per hour is $20.50 - $22.50. The full pay range is $20.50 - $34.85. Pay is based on factors such as labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Learn more about Target here. All About Closing The Closing team finishes the day’s work by taking care of the guest until the doors close. They prioritize through the guest’s perspective, understand the leader’s vision for the business, and have fun with the team while completing closing routines. The Closing Team Leader role provides experience in: Guest service fundamentals and building a guest-first culture across the store Driving storewide sales volume and profitability Developing effective partnerships across the store to achieve goals Workload efficiency and coaching team members in all areas As a Closing Team Leader , no two days are the same. A typical day will likely include the following responsibilities: Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences Model and coach a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers the service standard Understand your role in sales growth and how each area contributes to store profitability Lead and execute onboarding and learning; close skill gaps through development and coaching Problem solve and prioritize across multiple areas to execute store strategies and meet guest-focused goals Collaborate with leaders to influence sales performance and workload, using daily check-ins and meetings as connection points Support store operations by ensuring departments are zoned, in-stock, signed and labeled appropriately Share priorities and business updates with store leadership using planning tools Take action to achieve performance goals Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team Support onboarding and close skill gaps through development and coaching Help leaders establish clear goals and hold team members accountable Follow safe and secure training and processes; address store emergencies and compliance needs Model ethical conduct, safety and compliance; promote a safety culture and incident response Greet and engage guests, helping solve their needs and thanking them for shopping at Target Model physical security processes and merchandise protection strategies Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) orders while complying with applicable laws All other duties based on business needs What We Are Looking For This may be the right job for you if: You enjoy interacting with guests and fellow team members You thrive in a fast-moving, active environment where teamwork and problem solving are key You are open to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times The training provided for this role is comprehensive.
