The Sales Manager plays a critical role in Toteco Packaging’s success. This role is responsible for identifying and guiding opportunities through the sales process, which ultimately drives revenue and growth. The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the territory Account Manager, ensuring supplier product inventory is maintained while  executing the company’s sales strategy. This position reports into the Sales Director and follows directives regarding pricing strategy, supplier and customer management.

·         Oversee and Coordinate Sales Activities within assigned territory:

o   Midwest US

o   Southern US

o   Eastern and Southern Mexico

o   Middle and Eastern Canada

·         Maintains Customer Relationships, Provides Education and Resources. Visits Customer Manufacturing/Processing locations

·         Responsible for overseeing entered customer orders, determining supplier inventory, and ensuring product delivery due dates are achieved. If needed, move orders to alternate supplier location.

·         Provides quick and accurate responses to customer questions or inquiries through phone, email, or chat.

·         Retains knowledge and understanding of Customer Contracts as well as Historical and Current Pricing.

·         Responsible for Identifying, Qualifying, and Providing Pricing to Customers

·         Documents sales activities within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System: Identifying leads, qualifying leads, scoping opportunities, preparing proposals, and track follow up activities

·         Understanding of Base Bracket Prices and Discounts with the ability to speak accurately and confidently when working with customers

·         Delivers timely updates to the Sales Director regarding workflow, task completion, and performance metrics.

·         Maintains consistent communication with Toteco Leadership to align tasks and priorities.

·         On a quarterly basis, develop reporting and sets customer projections.

·         Works with Partner Suppliers to Manage Prebuild Inventory to meet Customer Demand

·         Following Toteco’s Customer Complaint Process, Responsible for overseeing and closing out assigned region’s complaints in a prompt fashion

·         Work closely with Account Manager: Supporting, Planning, Training, and Directing activities

·         Set up meetings, agendas and lead meetings at partner manufacturing facilities

·         In coordination with Toteco Leadership, work with suppliers to improve performance and address quality issues on behalf of customers.

·         Responsible for driving brand recognition through industry activity to support marketing and advertising initiatives

·         Plan, Manage, and Coordinate trade show attendance and exhibition as determined

• Address daily challenges with the ability to manage, prioritize, and successfully complete multiple tasks when requested

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Packaging, Marketing or Several years (3-5+) as a top-performing sales representative

·         Previous supervisory experience or proven ability to lead/mentor

• A history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and creating effective strategies
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Interpreting data, tracking trends, and forecasting sales
• Proficiency with CRM software (like Salesforce), data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.
