Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Level II trauma center experience for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• CT Tech unit within the Radiology/Cardiology department
• Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Level II Trauma Center; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Required to work holidays
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) certifications required
• Wisconsin or Compact license required; pending license may be accepted at submission but must be obtained during compliance (license required if applicable)
• Prior travel experience required; may consider candidates with Level I or Level II trauma experience in lieu of travel history
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Experience with special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA preferred
• Experience with GE equipment preferred
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols

• Candidate must be adaptable to change and comfortable transitioning between facilities
• Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies
• Travelers may return to the facility only after a minimum 1-year separation
• Travel pairs accepted
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• NIHSS certification may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance
• Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance
