Our client, a downtown law firm, is seeking a qualified Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team. This firm is committed to providing excellent legal services and handling high-volume cases, making this an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you'll support attorneys with a variety of legal administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient case management. The position offers a blend of in-office work and one remote day per week, providing flexibility in a busy legal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize legal documents, filings, and correspondence.
• Assist with case preparation and client communication.
• Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings.
• Maintain case files and ensure confidentiality.
• Conduct research and compile relevant legal information as needed.
• Support billing, invoicing, and other administrative processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role within a law firm.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with legal software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to handle high-volume work with professionalism and accuracy.
