Start your new career as a Shipping and Receiving Associate with MAU at our client in Conyers, GA. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate , you will be responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products.

1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED
Associates degree, highly preferred
1 - 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
Forklift certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 26 - 50 pounds
Ability to stoop and bend

What You'll Do as a Shipping and Receiving Associate

Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect condition
Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used
Record received and shipped items according to established procedures
Supervise processes and procedures in receiving and shipping department
Ensure that goods are verified against records of shipment
Oversee the inspection of goods received
Supervise the maintenance of records of damaged or defective items and discrepancies in quantities and weights, and record time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials received or shipped
Responsible for ensuring goods are shipped as required to manufacturing facilities if recycled materials, or to customer location or distribution center if finished goods
Perform other tasks as assigned
