Your Responsibilities

As a Procurement Planning Specialist for John Deere Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA you will:

• Champion procurement planning best practices, standards, and methodologies across the organization
• Drive planning stability through improved processes, risk identification, proactive planning, and disciplined execution
• Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement planning principles, tools, and systems
• Lead initiatives that improve planning performance, process efficiency, and organizational effectiveness
• Mentor and coach procurement planners on planning processes, analytical skills, and best practices
• Partner with procurement, operations, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve planning effectiveness

What Skills You Need

• 1 - 2 years of Supply Management (planning, purchasing/buying) or Material Flow related experience
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process
• 1 - 2 years SAP experience

What Makes You Stand Out

• 2+ years of procurement planning experience

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in business related field
