Position Overview

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures, including those for abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedure with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline is required
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
